- Tee has adjusted to Kindergarten very well. He has made many friends. I was able to go in and help at lunch the first couple of weeks. You know Kindergartners need help opening this and that. One day Tee was sitting next to a girl. They were talking to each other nonstop. I asked him what her name was and he wasn't sharing. So I asked her. It seems as though he sits next to her many days. One night at dinner, I asked him if he liked this girl you know as a friend or if he liked liked this girl. Yep, answer was he liked liked her! Oh boy.
- E and Jay have both adjusted to the 5th grade. Yes, I can't believe they are in 5th grade. They both seems to be doing well. In past years, I have complained that E has not been placed in the correct math class. He was not being challenged at all. I just found out recently that he will be working on 6th grade math like Jay. The best part is that he will not have to change his math class and will not be in class with his brother.
- We were able to take the boys to the Baltimore Grand Prix. We were spectators from a building (yes inside) overlooking the course. The boys really enjoyed watching the race. So glad to be indoors. The cars are so loud.
- We were able to go to a Nationals Baseball game down in DC. It was a very nice stadium. We were being threatened with rain but luckily it just sprinkled.
- The boys are all playing baseball. In fact, we have three boys on three different teams. We have E taking a break from the travel team. That is a story for another day. He plays on Saturdays. Tee plays on Sunday mornings and Jay plays Sunday afternoon. Yes, we have full weekends.
- This past weekend, the husband and I were able to get out with some friends. We went to a Maryland winery for a tasting. We then sat at a table to talk and have some wine and snacks. It was a fun time with fun friends. We really needed that.
- The boys will continue with scouts this year. The will complete their Weeblos this year. I don't believe the boys will continue after this year and I am ok with that.
- We recently had our sun room tiled. The carpet was really gross and we needed a change in that room. It looks really nice. I was able to clean it up, which was needed desperately.

Here is what we have been up to

Spring Break 2012
It is spring break week! It is nice to have a little break. Although Tee has preschool through Thursday, it is nice to have a break in the morning routine. Tee is taking a break from his lunch bunch this week. So no rush to get lunches made in the morning. I am taking this opportunity to do a little spring cleaning. This house definitely needs it.
I started with my closet this morning. I was able to get rid of a bag full of clothes. I am still not done. I have the need to do a big clean out. I spent some time this weekend cleaning out the pantry. It is amazing how I think I may have just purchased something but it has an expiration of 2009. Yuk!
The last two weekends, the boys have played in baseball tournaments. The first tournament went ok. They tied their first game, won the second and lost the third. This past weekend the boys played so well. They made it to the championship game. I know I won't get the specifics right, but the team was just about to be "mercied" out of the game, but they managed to score 8 runs in one inning. But in the end they weren't able to pull it off. They lost 14-10. It was a lot of baseball this weekend. Unfortunately, I only made it to the last game. The tournament was about 1 hour from home. I think the boys are a bit exhausted.
*********************************************************************************
I sometimes feel that Tee gets the shaft because of our busy schedule. When the twins were young, we went to an Easter party hosted by the Multiples Club I was in. It was such a fun time for them. It was lunch, pictures with the Easter bunny (always a good bunny) and an egg hunt. They loved it. How many times has Tee been to an egg hunt? I am embarrassed to really even put this in writing. I decided I was going to take him to the hunt at our church. I am so glad I did. He has the best time. He told me that night that the Easter egg hunt was so much fun. I really do need to make sure I find time to do these little things with Tee.
Well, I am hoping to be able to re-group this week. I feel a bit out of control as my house is unorganized. Then back to focusing on the auction.
I am sure we will have a few fun excursions this week....not sure what yet.

They did it!
That is right, NUMBER 1.
The boys' baseball team improved greatly this year. There was some inconsistency throughout the season. Sometimes they were on and other times we weren't sure what they were doing. But as the year continued they did start to put it all together.
A few weekends ago the regular season ended with a league tournament. The boys ended up losing 2 games on Saturday so they did not move onto the finals. It was definitely disappointing.
The team entered a tournament this past weekend about 1 hour from our home. This is the absolute last game for them until next spring. The boys played 2 games on Saturday and lost both. They were seeded number 7 out of 8 teams.
I was totally surprised when the husband called me Sunday morning to tell me the boys won. So Tee and I packed up and drove to see the next game. We were ecstatic when they won that game and moved on to the championship game. I thought at one point my husband was going to faint. Oh yeah, my husband was head coach on Sunday. The regular head coach was not able to make the tournament.
The 3rd game of the day was played right after the 2nd. The boys were totally pumped up for the game. I am sure I will get the stat wrong, but we were losing up though the 5th inning. The boys put it together and ended up scoring several runs.....more than the other team. In the bottom of the 6th inning, it was just a matter of getting 3 outs quickly for them to not score. We ended up winning 10-4. I can not describe the excitement of the boys. This was such an awesome way for them to end the season.
Now for the drama, you know there has to be some. The team has 13 players. That means each inning 4 kids sit out. 13 is a lot of kids to have on a team, but if we are out that takes 2 players from the team. Detailed stats are kept, believe me they are detailed. One of the items tracked is how many times you are sitting on the bench. There are some kids, mine included that have sat out the most.
At the game on Saturday, one of the parents got really upset that their child was sitting on the bench too much. They thought he sat out a lot although in reality he had not. The Mom came over during the 2nd game on Saturday and told her child they were leaving. The coaches tried to calm her down and it ended up that she stormed away and left but her child remained with his Dad.
The coach approached the Dad to find out what the issue was and he let in on the coach. No one was sure where this all came from. So the coach reviewed the file with the detailed info. and it turns out that this child has sat out the least. The coach did contact the parents that evening and the conversation did not go well. They ended up quitting prior to the game on Sunday. I find the situation incredibly sad. What are they teaching that child about being on a team. I do have to tell you that it was nice to have the big win without him.
The Dad did eventually send a note apologizing but I think it was too late.

Opening day
Baseball season is in full swing. E and Jay have games on Wednesdays and Sundays with practices on Fridays and so far many Tuesdays. As of now they have lost 2 games and won 1.
Practicing batting!
The Coach and his boys!
Jay pitching!
E playing second base....maybe.
The boys play well and seem to enjoy playing most of the time. I think E tends to get a little anxious and decides he doesn't like baseball. But as always he ends up doing fine.
They have played for the head coach for many years now. I have really liked him and thought he has done a really good job with the kids. I am really struggling with liking him this year. I do realize he has invested a lot of time with the kids and wants to win but we are dealing with 8 and 9 year olds. He tends to send emails after the games attacking the kids. I could go on and on but I won't. I hope it will get better.
Tee has started t-ball. He has been so excited about playing. He has been so upset when his practice/games get canceled, which has happened twice now. His t-ball is on Thursdays and Saturdays. Nice how it works out with E and Jays schedule.
Tee in uniform.
Practicing batting!
Tee has a few boys on his team that are also in his preschool class. It makes it a lot of fun for him. He really seems to want to play t-ball. Once I tell him it is time to start getting dressed for his game, he immediately runs upstairs and starts. Maybe he will follow in his brother's footsteps.

Rebound
Basketball season is coming to an end and I am an very excited. Don't get me wrong I love love love to watch basketball. I especially love to watch my boys play. But I have not been very happy with our organization.
The boys play on a 7/8 league which means they are the older ones in the group. The teams are formed by draft. The coaches pick numbers and pick in order. We had a friend who had first draft and wanted to pick my boys. Lucky for us, the boys come as a pair. What we didn't realize was the league coordinator actually had first pick. She is someone we knew and she had coached the boys before.
I was disappointed they did not get on our friend's team but it was ok. The main coach on our team was one of the boys' dad and the coordinator was the assistant.
I took the boys to their first practice and wasn't sure what the team would be like. E and Jay were the tallest and oldest players on the team.
As the season progressed, I was unhappy with the coach. He spent so much time talking to the kids and not enough time running them through drills. In fact, I don't think he ran them through the correct drills the entire season. I bet you didn't know I was an expert in coaching basketball. Well, I am not but I have seen enough practices especially of teams practicing next to ours.
If you don't know me I am a planner. I like to have everything planned out and in my calendar. We would only get a practice and game schedule for a month at a time. This is extremely aggravating for me. I had several things to schedule in February.
I decided I was done waiting so I decided to move forward with my plans. I ended up scheduling a ski trip for us during President's day weekend. Shortly after I get a schedule that shows our league tournament was being held the same weekend. I was a bit upset but felt like they would just have to deal. E and Jay are 2 of the team's really good players. And did I mention that they are tall and are the ones typically blocking and rebounding.
The couch seemed a little upset that the boys would not be at the game. But this was obviously not our problem. The team lost and our consolation game will be held on Thursday. The boys also got picked to play on the all star team and will play on Saturday also. Interesting thing is they will be on different all star teams and play against each other.
I look forward to the last few games. But I will look into a different organization for next year.

Let's try Soccer
Tee has said that he would like to play soccer among many other sports. He definitely wants to play t-ball but he mentioned soccer a lot. I thought it would be nice for him to try soccer. It is something different from what his brothers play and would give him his own sport.
Soccer is held indoors at a place close to our house. At this age it is just basics, how to kick the ball. No games. We go on Thursday mornings for 1 hour.

Tee got to kick the ball around.

And learn how to stop the ball.
He had such a great time. The best part was that Dad had Thursday off and was able to come watch. At the end of lesson, he came up to his Dad and said that he was the star of the league. That made us crack up and I am not sure where he got that from.

This week in review
Well, another busy week has passed by. It is really beginning to feel like summer but the boys still have 23 days of school left. It is going to be a long month.
Tee's last day of preschool was on Tuesday followed by an end of the year picnic on Thursday.

Jay with his buddies. The one on the left is his neighborhood friend.
Lots of baseball this week and weekend. The boys had a make-up game on Tuesday. Then practice on Wednesday followed by the start of the weekend tournament on Friday. They lost the tournament game on Friday. They played again on Saturday. They won their first game on Saturday. It was such a good day. They played great.
Now the parents (the other team) on the other hand did not behave themselves so well. The umpire was not very good. In the first inning, he did not make a call that he needed to make. The first baseman was running to second when a kid from the other team got into his way. Interference should have been called. My husband argued, yes my husband, Mr. quiet easy going husband. I thought he was going to get ejected from the game for being too vocal. The ump said he didn't think the first baseman would have made it to second. My husband argued that the decision whether he made it or not was not his to make. He needed to call interference. The ump was telling the other team he didn't see it. That started off the game.
Apparently, the parents from the other team were saying stuff to our coach who was standing on third base when our kids were at bat. Then there was a parent standing at the opening of the dugout dropping the f-bomb. These are 7 and 8 year olds and I personally think using any kind of foul language is inappropriate. I have to say that made me extremely angry.
They lost their game on Sunday. I have to say I am a little glad they lost. If they won, they would have played again on Sunday. It was nice to have Sunday afternoon to relax.
Monday we lounged most of the afternoon. A few families came over to swim in the pool. I think everyone had fun. I know my guys are very tired.
Tee ended up falling asleep on the couch before dinner this evening. The husband woke him up but he was still half asleep when he put him at the table. Tee was eating with his eyes closed. I have to say it was absolutely hilarious. And that is how we ended our long weekend.

Tee with his teachers at the park!
He had a really great time in preschool this year. We are going to miss the teachers. If he had enrolled for next year he would have had the same teachers. I can't say enough good things about the school, except for the fact that the days need to be a little longer.
The boys had field day at school on Friday. The kids love field day!

Long awaited
I made the mistake of telling Tee that I signed him up for T-ball. He has asked so many times when he was going. I guess I wouldn't really call it asking because it goes more like, "you are not letting me go to baseball". Hard to explain to a 3 year old that it doesn't start until a specific date.
The day finally came last Friday. Me being the great Mom I am forget to bring his glove. It ended up being ok as they didn't need them but all of the other kids had their gloves.
They started out with a few exercises and stretching. The coaches mainly worked on throwing with the kids. They are also learning how to run the bases. They were running all over the place. At the end, the coaches would ground the ball to the child, then child was to get the ball and touch a base.

Tee tends to be a little spastic when he throws the ball.

Waiting for instruction on when to throw the ball at the coach.

Yes, really hard to not dig especially when you have to wait.
Tee was very disappointed when the lesson was over. He was ready for more. We have T-ball for the next 5 weeks on Friday.

Back to routine
We had a nice quiet spring break. We did not do much during the week. I lacked motivation to go anywhere. A lot of the neighbors and friends were out of town for the week.
The boys got ancy on Friday which led right into Saturday. On Friday, we went to the bookstore to use gift cards they had received. Then we went out to lunch. After a quick errand we were home. That is when it started.
E likes to bother Jay and Jay does not know when to walk away. E aggravated Jay that Jay ended up throwing his new book at E. And that is how we ended our Spring Break.
Our first baseball game was on Sunday. The boys' team lost but it was a really good game. The other team didn't score until a later inning. Both E and Jay pitched during the game. They both need a little help with hitting. It has been a struggle to go from machine pitch to kid pitch.
Tee is the recipient of A LOT of hand me downs from his brother. Sometimes when he wears something it reminds me of when E and Jay wore the same outfit.

Baseball and more baseball
It has started. The it is baseball season. The boys are on a Travel team, which gets a little more serious (and competitive) than the regular leagues. They played in a pre-season tournament this past weekend. Two games on Saturday and one on Sunday. I think these provide a lot of good practice for the kids.
It unfortunately was not a warm weekend. It was a bit chilly although the sun was shining and many people got sun from watching both games.

I am not sure why we have white uniforms. It will never look as nice as it did on the first day that is for sure. I do not have a picture of Jay because he was having major issues Saturday morning as we were getting him ready. Lots of crying. Sunday went much better after our talk. But on Sunday they were running late and I was not able to snap a photo.

EE pitched 3 innings at the game on Sunday and did extremely well. He really enjoys pitching.
Both boys had some really great plays on Sunday that I missed.

Tee and I only made it to one game. I knew that Tee would not be able to make a day at the ball field. We went to the second game on Saturday.
No he is not a little ham or anything.

Our normal season will be; a game on Wednesday evenings, practice on Friday and a game on Sundays.

The long weekend with visitors
It seems like I have not stopped going since last Thursday. My husband's father and his wife visited us for a long weekend. I spent the day getting ready for their arrival. I made chicken salad, a lasagna and a dessert in the span of 3 hours plus I vacuumed and dusted. I was vacuuming the the last area when they pulled up in the driveway.

My husband played golf on Friday and Sunday morning with our visitors. The boys got to play hooky from school on Friday afternoon. We figure it is close to the end of the school year. They
were very excited.
We did a lot of swimming in the pool this weekend. It was very humid so swimming was nice.
Tee has figured out how to kick his legs and keep upright in the pool. He loves "swimming" from one side to the other. We are very careful with him because if he is forced from this position he will float on top of the water, head in.
Saturday the boys had their last baseball game. The team did not play well and as a result the parents were so frustrated. Needless to say, they did not make it into the playoffs. One good thing happened at the game, a kid who has not hit a ball all season finally got a hit, made it to first base and eventually to home plate.
My husband managed to get us into a suite for the Orioles baseball game on Sunday. It was a fun time for the kids and the adults.

Grandpa, R and the boys.
The husband and his Dad in the suite facing the field.
We had a nice visit with them. Tee can not say Grandpa and spent the entire weekend calling him Grandma. I though this was funny but we ended up getting Tee to call him PawPaw. That sounds so southern to me. Hopefully, he will be able to get it soon.
The Puzzle is finally finished. R (FIL's wife) worked on it all weekend. We (the boys, me, the husband and Grandma) started back in February and got stuck when we got to the azaleas.

This is a view looking at the lighthouse in Hilton Head Island which is where we are headed. I am ready for a little R&R and spend some time on the beach.
I have lots to do before the weekend.

B Team
We waited all day yesterday for an email about the Baseball Team. My hope was that they either both made it or they both didn't. We found out this morning that the boys made the B team. Luckily, there were enough kids who tried out to form 2 teams. We were also provided with a letter regarding the commitment we have to make as a family. Practices will be held 2 to 4 times a week from now until the tournament weekend of July 4th. There is a small financial commitment to purchase uniforms and we also may have a tournament (meaning more cost to us) prior to July 4th as additional preparation. Parents also have to volunteer at the tournament in some capacity. The biggest benefit of the boys being on the team is for their skills to improve tremendously. They will be playing with other kids who are as well or better skilled than they are now. I think this will be a great opportunity for them.
Speaking of baseball I have been so annoyed with the team the boys are on currently. There are 4 kids on the team who have never played before. One of these kids doesn't seem to be there at all. I don't think he has gotten one hit all season. The team has won 3 games this season. I am not all about winning. At this level I think that the teams need to be split up a bit so that you have an equal number of really good players as well as the not so skilled player. The other teams seem to be stacked with older really good players. We are debating going to a different organization for the fall. They seem to run it a bit differently but practices and games will be a 25 minute drive. We need to sit and think about this before we do anything.
Back to the tournament. We will be gone on a family vacation for 1 week during this time period so we may have to miss 2 practices. I am not sure if that is going to be allowed, meaning they will not allow the boys to remain on the team. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Sports
The last few days have been filled with sports. Sunday I finally made it to a Lacrosse practice. The practice is at 3:00 and in the middle of Tee's nap. The boys seem to have fun at Lacrosse but they both say they are not interested in playing the sport on a team. I feel it is our job to push them to "try out" the different sports but not push them if it is not something they enjoy. Although they seem to have fun at practice.
Sunday was a chilly day. I keep thinking that we are done with the heat but the mornings have been so chilly that I have had to run it upstairs. We are almost in June, certainly I won't need my heater any more.
Here are a few pictures of the boys from Sunday.
EE all geared up and ready to practice.
Jay geared up. He has to be cold.
Tee soaking all in while watching the practice.
After Lacrosse we headed to a Tennis celebration. The organization just started their tennis league which the boys will start in July. The celebration was to get everyone excited about the program.
Monday and Tuesday (a make-up game) we had baseball games. The team has really struggled this year. We don't want EE and Jay to lose their desire to play because they enjoy the sport and are really good. The other teams seem to have a lot of older kids who are all very good. We are going to enroll the boys for the fall league but are unsure at this point which one we are going to put them in.
EE at bat. It is very cute because he does a little dance when he is up at bat. He has continued to hit the ball every time he is at bat.
Jay at bat.
On Tuesday, I volunteered for the school golf fundraiser. It was a long day but in the end it brings in money so that the PTA can fund certain school functions/programs.
Friday is field day at the school. Tee and I will be there cheering the boys on. It will be a fun day for them and I am hoping that Tee can survive through it all. Meaning that he will sit with me and watch vs. trying to do whatever his brothers are doing.

Baseball
Well, the boys' team is getting a little better. They have finally been able to practice. At the last practice, they had a pitching machine. All of the kids need help with their hitting.

Jay is on first base. He has had some really good hits and plays this season so far. He has had a couple of doubles!

Ee on first base. He is batting 1000 (which means he has hit the ball every time he has been up to bat). He is very proud. We were a little nervous at this last game when he didn't get a hit until the very last pitch came his way.

The Bad News Bears
As I mentioned previously, the sports season has begun. In addition to baseball, the boys are enrolled in a 6 week instructional Lacrosse program. We are still trying to figure out which sports they like and are good at.
We have two baseball games a week, Saturdays and Mondays and then practice on Tuesdays. It seems as though the rain has been around so that we haven't had many practices and a game or two has been canceled as well.
Saturday was our second game. It was at 9am and believe it or not really warm outside. The game lasted 1 hour and 45 minutes and each minute was torture for those of us watching. The team played so poorly. I would watch the children stand there and let balls roll past them. A lot of the kids in the outfield would retrieve the ball (after chasing it for a bit) and then hold onto it instead of throwing it in the diamond. The only thing that would pop into my head was a new version of the bad news bears.
Our game was canceled this past Monday due to rain and practice was canceled on Tuesday because the fields were still too wet and there was a chance of Thunderstorms (which did happen). The coach is trying to arrange for a Friday night practice and boy do they all need it. I am hoping for a better game on Saturday or maybe that we play an even worse team.
I will have pictures of the boys in uniform this weekend.

And the season begins
Last night was the official start to the baseball season. We will have practice on Tuesdays and games on Saturdays and Mondays. It is a long season and runs through mid June. The boys really enjoy baseball and they know lots of kids on their team.
A week ago (before I found out about our baseball season) I signed the boys up for an instructional Lacrosse class. Luckily, it is only 6 weeks and is on Sunday afternoons. We want to determine their skill and desire to play that sport. We will be busy.
*********************************************************************************
I am sure you want to know whether I went to the jewelry party or not. I decided not to go. I am one of those people who feels that I HAVE (guilty if I don't) to buy a product. I don't really wear lots of jewelry and I definitely don't need to spend over $30 on something I will not use. I emailed her Sunday morning to let her know that I would not attend and was honest regarding why. She replied and stressed that it would not be a lot of product pushing just a fun relaxing time. I honestly was very much into getting things cleaned up and did not feel the need to get out to socialize. My neighbor did go and she was the only one there for over 1 hour. She not only purchased a product but also said she would have a party. The host never sent out a reminder email or checked back with any of her friends. Her friends showed up 10 minutes prior to the end time.

It is all wrong
Today as I was sorting laundry near the boys' bedrooms, I look as the baby is getting up on the bed and stepping off. Yes, this is the reason I spend a lot of money to have my hair colored every three or four months.
But this is not what this post is about. It is about sports. There are 2 major organizations and the Parks and Rec that offer team sports. The Parks and Rec does a nice job with their sports. The boys played instructional basketball in the fall and I was impressed. The other 2 orgs. are similar. I have talked to a few people who like one over the other for specific reasons. For example, Org 2 does a travel baseball league. We have played baseball for Org 1 the last two season. We have had no issues with baseball. In fact, I would say it was well run and any problems were not apparent to us.
I didn't think twice about signing the boys up for basketball through Org. 1. Because of their age, I had to sign them up for a 5/6 instructional league. I wasn't very sure about this but was restricted by their age. Oh and sign ups start very early. In fact, I can sign the boys up for baseball now and the programs begins in April some time. I am not sure why the long registration period.
We did not receive any information from the league until early November. This note said that the start date was delayed due to lack of coaches for all the teams. It was explained that we would meet each Wednesday and Friday. The first half hour is for practice and the second half hour would be a game between the two teams meeting at the same facility. Ok, didn't sound that bad.
We then got invited to a "kick-off" meeting so the coach could go over a few things with the parents and the kids could get acquainted. My husband took the boys to this meeting. He came home and was very disappointed. He could not hear one thing anyone said the entire night. He said that the gym was double booked and pure mayhem. Not a good start. And to top if off EE and Jay are about a head taller then everyone on their team. In fact, they are the only first graders on the team. Funny to watch how they tower over all of the kids.
The first real practice was the week that followed. They were assigned to a gym that did not have the 8 foot goals. So they were not able to practice shooting that day. We were also set to practice the following Friday but it got canceled because schools were closing early for the holiday and there would be no access to the gym.
We finally get a schedule set. I print it out and fill my calendar with the pertinent information. Then we get another email stating that the calendar had to be changed due to conflicts with some of the gyms.
I have a feeling we will be dealing with the chaos the entire season, which by the way lasts through February. I am not sure what to do. Part of me would like to pull them out, but we have already paid and they are not aware of the awkwardness of them being so much taller (and frankly better) than everyone on the team.
In talking with my neighbor, who also has three boys, she has said nice things about Org. 2. I wish I had known that before I signed them up. Org. 2 has a team of just first graders. How awesome would that have been.

Shooting the hoops
Basketball Pictures from Saturday.

A little warm up by EE (number 2) and Jay (number 1). The baby decided he needed to do some jumping jacks with the kids as they were warming up.
The boys had a great time at their game. They have really enjoyed basketball. I asked them today which sport they liked better basketball or baseball. EE said he liked them both and Jay said he liked basketball better. The groups split up into two teams of four. So they all get a lot of play time. They each were able to handle the ball and make baskets. The baby unbelievably sat with us and watched and played without making too much of a fuss.
As I was snapping pictures during this game I realized how much I dislike my camera. It is a digital camera. The one where you push the button and then have to wait 1 minute before the picture actually shoots. I missed out on so many good pictures. I think next game I will take the video camera.

On a separate note, the boys had dentist appointments on Friday. This was the baby's first visit. He did great. You know it is bad when the Dentist tells you to start saving your money for corrective measures. I am sure at least 2 of the 3 will need some work done.
The husband and I went out on Saturday night. Can't wait to dish about that!

B-Ball, both of them
The boys started basketball on Saturday. Well, Jay started basketball and EE chickened out. EE tends to have a hard time on the first get together. He went in fine and then all of the sudden when they started doing the warm up exercises the look came my way. I pointed and told him to join in and then the tears came. I ignored him and the coach told him to go sit with his Mom. I digress for a minute. I was sitting next to the Mom of a child that is in Jay's class. She has one child and made it very clear that he is spoiled. I have heard he is a little rambunctious in class. As EE is walking towards me the conversation with the other Mom went something like this:
Other Mom: Does he know about Power Rangers
Me: Yes (thinking why is this important)
Other Mom: Tell him to use his magic powers from within
Me: What, oh no they don't watch power rangers
Other Mom: Why don't you go join in with him and that will make him feel better and stay in
Me: No. He tends to be shy in the first class and then he will be fine.
Other Mom: Let's go join him....I will go with you.
Me: No.
A bit bizarre if you ask me. My boys are too old to be coddled. So EE sat out and both the husband and I were so upset with him. Rest assured this will not happen next Saturday.

On Sunday the boys had their 2nd baseball game. They are the Aberdeen Iron Birds. Here are a few pictures of them.

EE, the baby and Jay. The baby has to be in the middle of everything.

EE at bat.

Jay at bat

EE and Jay.
The both did well. The each had two hits at bat and one out at bat. It unfortunately is blazing hot here today. The baby and I only stayed for the top of one inning.
